Full-Figured Fashion Week ™ 2015 did it again!! This time the white only ‘ Curves At Sea ‘ was bigger & better than ever. It is one of the favored events that this plus size fashion week has to offer. It really is more than just a boat ride filled with lovely gorgeous women and the men that love them. It has become a Fashion trend to attend this celebration at sea. I have seen some of the most beautiful gowns & dresses on this boat ride, than in the pages of bridal guides. You see everything has to be just right and detailed down to the last accesory. By this I mean nails, toes, shoes and even that ‘ Princess ‘ tiara, etc. No curvy Diva wants to get caught wearing a repeated dress. Now we have hundreds getting gowns created and sewn. Many guests looked like they were headed to church to get married. As the guests start arriving all you can hear are pleased whispers of women complimenting each other for wearing the Right dress. Although FFFWeek ™ is a week of events we thick girls prepare all year for this one week. I myself was losing my mind trying to find the magical dress to the point I had 3 outfits ready & packed an extra one in case someone else had my dress. Yes, I went there. I love lace as you can see in the choice of my dress and the very detailed bell laced sleeves. One of my favorite looks was worn by Plus Model Shalon Dozier. Her entire outfit was on Point. I met girls from Canada, Australia, London and St. Thomas just to name a few. We exchanged business cards and shared great conversations. It was another complete success on so many levels. I got lots of compliments and no one else repeated my dress. Thank goodness! Now that we know the dates for FFFWeek(tm) in 2016 which are June 12-18 I am already working on all my outfits especially my white ‘wedding’ dress for the Curves At Sea 2016!! Special thanks to Gwen DeVoe and her amazing staff for spoiling us with such perfect events.
