During one of my latest business trips I was placed in the strangest situation ever. I cannot go into details because there are people who I respect that were involved & that I work with. But I will say that saying ‘NO’ means just that..NO! I can discuss my part in this situation.
I work hard for mines. I do it all without asking anyone for help or favors in return. As a matter of fact it is I who does favors for the world & back. But this is who I am. I know all I do in a positive light will be returned to me. Respect is something you give to others so they can in return provide you with the same respect.
I was raised a certain way and I am almost 41, I am not changing my stripes no time soon. I did not approve of the elements that were around me one particular evening. People I trusted forgot their ethics and how to be professional.
i am proud to say I held my own. I kept to myself and counted the minutes to my return flight home. I grabbed the next flight and was out of there in no time. I ended all ties with the person involved and demanded my respect. The ‘Hollywood’ world isn’t all about glamour.
I share this with you all because sometimes in life we have relationships or even friendships that try to test us. We are not ‘lab’ rats to be experimented on. We pick up the pieces and we keep it moving.
What defines us is not how or why we can get into a sticky situation. It is how we get ourselves out that makes us fighters, in my case a warrior.
I share this picture because it says so much about me if you are interested in reading me. I love myself and only allow people who respect, care and cherish me! I love and care for all of those in my inner circle and my loyalty cannot be compared to many.
I feel stronger and working extra hard. May you all find that inner strength when you are being tested or hurt. We all have that hard fight inside of us. P.S. special thanks to DJ LOS who was on the phone with me through most of that night and who booked a flight just to come rescue me.

Well done. I appreciate you shedding that often non discussed light that is the industry. “I share this with you all because sometimes in life we have relationships or even friendships that try to test us. So true at least we get to see who and or what we are dealing with. Really quick.
