The Plus Size Modeling industry is flourishing in Puerto Rico and its all due to the beauty that Jesus sees in the plus size model. Yes, Latin women are known for their ‘Curves’ but many Hispanic cultures just don’t celebrate these full-figured women.
I think it is all the media & hype that involves Miss Universe, which brings all the beauty contestants like Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Colombia, etc to be a size 0-2 and be considered perfectly beautiful.
Most magazines feature straight size models ignoring the beauty of plus size women. That image has changed in Puerto Rico.
